About The Position
Seeking a compassionate and dependable Nursing Aide to support student health and wellness across K–8 school settings. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, this role provides daily care to students, assists with minor medical needs, and helps maintain a safe, organized, and supportive school health environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, calm, and reliable when working with children and staff
Nice To Haves
- CNA or CMA certification preferred
- Experience in a school, pediatric, or healthcare setting strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist students with basic health needs under RN supervision
- Record and monitor temperatures, pulse, and other vital signs as directed
- Support medication distribution and documentation per nurse instruction
- Provide care for minor injuries and illnesses following health protocols
- Maintain accurate health records and assist with communication to families and staff
- Keep the nurse’s office clean, organized, and compliant with health standards
- Ensure confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA and school regulations
