About The Position
Full time School Nurse (1:1) – Tacoma, WA - Interviewing now! | $37-55/hour | RN or LPN Location: Tacoma, WA Schedule: Monday–Friday; full time; starting ASAP for the 25-26 school year (high possibility to continue for the upcoming school year as well) Employment Type: School Setting; 1-1 for elementary student, female Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time school-based role for the rest of the 2025-2026 school year. This is a great opportunity to support a wonderful school community in a meaningful, student-focused position. Position Highlights: Full time, bus riding included / Monday through Friday Start date: ASAP 1-1 for elementary student, female
Requirements
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must hold an active Washington State LPN license or a compact LPN/LVN license
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric and school nurse experience a plus!
Responsibilities
- Maintain student airway
- Monitor O2 saturations as needed
- Provide O2 admin administration as needed
- Perform respiratory treatments
- Monitor and report any significant changes to district team/family
