About The Position

The Eastchester School District is seeking candidates for the probationary position of school monitor assigned to work one to one with a special needs student in the Eastchester High School. Ideal candidates are those who are energetic, patient and have experience working with special needs students.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively with secondary school age children with special needs
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to take oral and written directives
• Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position
• NYSED Fingerprint Clearance
