About The Position
The position involves monitoring student behavior and enforcing school rules related to the student code of conduct. Responsibilities include resolving conflicts between students, investigating complaints and disturbances, and controlling traffic and parking on campus grounds. The role also requires registering student vehicles, documenting incidents such as vandalism and car accidents, and preparing activity reports for theft. Additionally, the individual will assist law enforcement personnel as needed, provide directions or escort students and visitors, and monitor entrances and exits. Operating detecting devices to screen individuals and properties is also part of the job, along with attending extra-curricular activities and graduation for student supervision. Maintaining a professional demeanor with security personnel, staff, students, parents, and community members is essential. The position requires monitoring alarm systems to detect emergencies and notifying appropriate authorities when necessary. The individual will also write reports of daily activities and irregularities and perform other tasks as assigned. Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required.
