IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a Lead for our Membership Services team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with customers and responding to incoming inquiries. You are well-organized and extremely personable. We are looking for a quick learner who is flexible and can take on a variety of independent projects. As our School Membership Team Lead, you'll be supporting schools and educators by responding to questions, solving problems and ensuring they have an exceptional experience with us. You'll also lead a team of membership specialists, helping them grow and ensuring we continue to provide top-quality service to our expanding customer base. This is a full-time position in our Raleigh, NC area office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.

  • Lead a team of 5 school membership specialists who support our IXL Learning and Rosetta Stone customers
  • Foster a collaborative, growth-minded team culture focused on continuous improvement
  • Prepare and send subscription renewal and upgrade quotes for existing customers
  • Partner with internal teams to drive high renewal rates and ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Keep detailed records of renewal activities and customer communications in Salesforce
  • Clearly explain key product features and benefits to customers through email and inbound calls
  • Develop a deep understanding of IXL's products to confidently speak to what makes our offerings stand out
  • Share ideas and feedback to help streamline and improve the renewal process
  • Process purchase orders and assist with credit card and check payments
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and support to our current customers
  • Take on additional projects as needed
  • BA/BS degree
  • 3+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of experience in team leadership
  • Exceptional phone skills
  • Comfortable with technology and passionate about bringing technology into the classroom
  • Demonstrated success at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Experienced with G Suite, Excel and Salesforce
  • Experience in K-12 education is a plus
