About The Position

The School Liaison at Painted Bins is responsible for coordinating and implementing various activities related to the organization's mission of promoting sustainability through children's art. This part-time, contract position involves working with local schools to organize art contests, art shows, and unveiling events, while serving as the primary contact for communication between Painted Bins and the schools. The role is crucial for fostering community engagement and supporting the organization's expansion efforts in Marin County.

Responsibilities

• Organize Painted Bins' Art Contest with the schools.
• Organize local events, including local Painted Bins' Art Shows featuring all the student posters from that community.
• Coordinate Art Unveiling events in communities that are initially installing the bins.
• Manage the process for art processing onto corrugated panels for insertion into Painted Bins.
• Facilitate community communication as needed.
