About The Position
Goal Cleaning is seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team at a nursing home in Media, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
- Previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs. during the shift
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment
- Reliability and punctuality are a must
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Cleaning: 1 year (Required)
- Do you have your own car? (REQUIRED)
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and hallways
- Empty trash, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Restock cleaning supplies and bathroom essentials as needed.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
