About The Position
School Health Professional (Temporary, One Year Only) Location: Allen Brook School Allen Brook School has an opening for a School Health Professional to work in collaboration with the School Nurse and education team in supporting the health needs of an individual student. A potential candidate will be an advocate of inclusive education, a problem-solver, strong collaborator, and a positive team member. Ability to promote child health safety and self-awareness to foster independence is a must. Candidates must have a current unrestricted Vermont Nursing License and appropriate experience. This is a school year position. This position would be contracted for 1 hr a day to provide a lunch break for the 1:1 nurse, plus a possibility for more hours when a substitute nurse for the student is needed or a substitute for the school nurse is needed. The hourly range for the 1 hour a day position is $36.90 - $40.72 based on education and experience. The hourly rate for substituting for the 1:1 nurse or school nurse is $37.00 an hour. Please note that lifting is a requirement of this job.
