About The Position

As a Cashier with Taher, Inc., you play one of the most important roles in delivering an exceptional guest experience. In addition to running point of sale, you will assist the team in food prep, some light stocking, and cleaning. But most importantly, you will create meaningful interactions with our customers. Requirements

Food Service experience preferred
Ability to do simple arithmetic to count money and make change
Understanding of basic computer skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
Successfully pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly with eye contact and a smile
Maintains the point of sale, entering all items accurately and efficiently
Assists in meal preparation including making salads, deli sandwiches, cleaning fresh fruits and vegetables etc.
Stocks and prepares condiments and utensils
Contributes to a positive work environment
Demonstrates integrity and respects confidentiality
Punctual and dependable
Follows food safety requirements and guidelines
Self-starter that can work independently
Performs additional related duties as assigned by leadership
