As a School Enrollment & Marketing Administrator, you will be responsible for the acquisition of new students and retention of existing students to ensure enrollment targets are met for the school. This role executes strategies, with the assistance of the principal, that support all aspects of the marketing and enrollment functions at the school. Is knowledgeable of all associated processes and activities. Acts as an external representative of the school to the community.

Requirements

  • 2-year college degree/equivalent experience (required) or higher (preferred).
  • Previous sales or marketing background is highly desired.
  • Previous School Enrollment Manager, Registrar, or equivalent experience desired.
  • Demonstrated experience in social media and digital marketing on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • Must be able to present a professional office with great customer service skills.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be able to collaborate with others.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Being bilingual is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability and willingness to work successfully with students, parents, and staff.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Ability and willingness to take directions.
  • Excellent references including attendance and punctuality.
  • Demonstrates excellent oral, written, interpersonal skills and ability in negotiating and influencing.
  • Proactive and takes initiative. Thinks creatively. Drives projects to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Builds Awareness of School by effectively communicating to families and community stakeholders on charter schools, Charter Schools USA, and the school's identity, mission, and vision.
  • Works with school leadership to help refine the school's identity and ensure the school properly represents its identity.
  • Develop, update, and modify marketing plans regularly in collaboration with school and state team and ensures they are within the school budget.
  • Collaborate with state and national marketing and enrollment team to execute paid digital marketing strategies.
  • Identify, attend, and participate in community outreach events to build and increase the lead volume.
  • Identify and collaborate with community organizations that can become partners to lift the school's reputation.
  • Identify and purchase school promotional items from the marketing toolkit.
  • Review and leverage local consumer research to ensure marketing strategies align with family interests.
  • Monitors competition, offerings, and market changes.
  • Identifies school stories, testimonials, and thought leadership opportunities to promote.
  • Works with public relations agencies and local media to promote events and accolades.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors strategies to promote the identity of the school and build trust with families.
  • Utilizes the customer relationship management tool (CRM) to build and convert families throughout the conversion pipeline.
  • Builds a healthy list of interested families by utilizing various strategies and events.
  • Follow-up regularly with families who express interest in the school to get them to apply.
  • Develops a content strategy to strengthen the school identity and improve family engagement.
  • Collaborates with school staff and teachers to create website and social content.
  • Publishes content on the website and social platforms and monitors engagement metrics.
  • Plans and coordinates marketing efforts for student recruiting and facilitates information sessions, tours, open houses, etc.
  • Develop and deploy email, text, or print campaigns to support ongoing communication with prospective families.
  • Co-plan with school leadership to offer family incentives to increase lead volume.
  • Work towards building the application volume beyond the school target to ensure a waitlist.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors various enrollment strategies to improve application volume.
  • Manages the application pipeline through various enrollment reports and ensures enrollment policies are followed.
  • Identifies and oversees the yearly marketing and enrollment schedule and communicates with stakeholders.
  • Develops and provides training and materials for internal stakeholders to support the enrollment function.
  • Follow-up with applicants to submit required documentation for enrollment.
  • Coordinates with special populations staff to ensure data & documents are gathered and shared.
  • Receives documentation and enters data to ensure students are fully registered.
  • Reviews student records for accuracy before syncing with the student information system (SIS).
  • Works with other enrollment stakeholders to ensure students are properly identified in systems.
  • Works with school leadership to develop and execute retention strategies for existing students.
  • Continuously monitors and ensures adherence to CSUSA policies on withdrawals.
  • Develops and executes family communication campaigns to improve engagement and retention.
  • Coordinates with principal and staff on student withdrawals to identify trends.
  • Engage the school team to support the start of the year Pre-First Day and warm body counts.
  • Identify, implement, and monitor advocacy strategies to capture testimonials and leverage raving fans.
  • Develop marketing and enrollment team at the school to achieve marketing and enrollment goals.
  • Identify school members who can assist M&E functions and cross-train them.
  • Provide status updates, reports, and progress on marketing and enrollment-related projects.
