Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the health needs of students through regular health screenings and assessments.
• Provide first aid and emergency care to students as needed, including management of chronic conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with school policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop individualized health plans for students with specific medical needs.
• Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics such as nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Coordinate with local health agencies to facilitate immunization programs and other public health initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between the school community and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
