About The Position
The position involves performing cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks on tools and equipment, as well as housekeeping duties in the maintenance of classrooms, grounds, and the entire school site. The employee will assist in transporting tools, supplies, equipment, and materials as needed on school sites and will improve skills by attending training opportunities. The role requires the ability to operate power tools, make simple measurements, and operate small machinery. The employee will also check lighting in buildings and classrooms, replace burnt bulbs, and check emergency exit lighting monthly. Additional duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or Superintendent.
