The City of Greeley is looking for responsible and safety minded School Crossing Guards that will direct pedestrian crossings and ensure the safety of children, while remaining alert to traffic hazards. Job Summary: School Crossing Guards direct pedestrian crossings and ensure the safety of children, while remaining alert to traffic hazards. Guards must be punctual and must remain at work location until conclusion of assignment at various school locations throughout Greeley. Substitutes must be able to respond to short-notice requests as needed and when available. Shifts: Work is performed in two, 1.5-hour shifts, morning shift and afternoon shift, for a total of 3 hours a day. Monday thru Friday during school year. Substitutes may refuse a request to fill an open position, but no more than three consecutive times. Note: Candidates must submit to a background investigation and a drug test prior to employment.
