About The Position

The district is seeking a highly effective educator(s) to serve in the role as Secondary School Counselor. Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with students, peers, parents and community. Provide academic scheduling guidance and support. Advise and counsel students with both short-term and long-term academic planning as well as social emotional problems. Support student career and college readiness. Support building assessment planning, preparation and implementation. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Secondary School Counselor Credentials required.
• Endorsement sought: School Counselor (NT)
• Successful experience working with and/or teaching secondary students
• Applicants must possess strong interpersonal skills, advanced problem-solving approaches and a strong desire to promote student success.
