About The Position
The School Counselor position at Fountain-Fort Carson High School is designed for the 2025-2026 school year. The counselor will develop and implement a comprehensive counseling program aligned with national standards and Colorado Essential Skills. This role involves utilizing data to deliver skill-based social-emotional-behavioral instruction and mental health services to students at various levels. The counselor will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' academic, social-emotional, and career growth, while also connecting families to community resources. A key responsibility is to maintain student safety through assessments and interventions to support mental health.
