The University of Saint Joseph invites qualified applicants to serve as part-time adjunct faculty within the Counseling & Applied Behavioral Studies Department. The department is actively recruiting several adjuncts for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters for faculty to teach courses within our CACREP accredited clinical mental health counseling and school counseling programs. The School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate programs seek skilled counselors (school and clinical) and counselor educators to teach a range of courses in our rigorous in-person program. The program faculty are committed to supporting a variety of student interests and needs, and the teaching style is student-focused and relational. Class sizes depend on the nature of the course and can range from 6 to 22. Core faculty share their syllabi and teaching resources with adjuncts, and a virtual forum for adjunct faculty is held every three to four weeks throughout each semester to provide connection with the program and teaching support.
