To support the District's instructional program by coordinating and supervising guidance and social/emotional learning activities that are designed to assist students in their personal, social, and intellectual development consistent with the goals set forth by the Board of Education and within the resources provided by it. Acts as the district's HIB coordinator by providing information regarding the provisions and procedures of the "Anti-bullying Bill of Rights". Provide staff with intervention and referral agencies for treatment services for affected students. Develop coordination between the community's mental health and treatment services with educational programs and pupil personnel services for students. Coordinate and educate in the areas of mental health, child abuse, substance abuse, harassment, intimidation, and bullying.
