About The Position

KRE Security, LLC is seeking dependable officers for permanent overnight assignments at a school campus in Reading, PA. This role offers a professional, low-traffic environment with consistent and predictable scheduling, including weekday and weekend availability. Officers must be flexible and able to work at either of the client's two locations as needed. This is a full-time opportunity, requiring 30+ hours per week.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor and reliable attendance
• Must be able to walk long distances and remain on foot for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Completion of in-person orientation required

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence
• Conduct routine foot and mobile patrols
• Monitor access points, alarms, and site conditions
• Document daily activity and incidents using Belfry software
• Enforce post orders and site procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and site contacts
