School Bus Monitor
About The Position
Alliance Center for Education is seeking energetic persons to serve as School Bus Monitors to provide safe, quality, and on-time transportation for Head Start children and parents. This is a part-time, 10 month, no benefit position. The candidate must be able to work a split shift, Monday through Friday, with the work day beginning at 6:30 a.m. The approximate hours for the shifts are 2.5 hours in the morning and 2.5 hours in the afternoon, not to exceed 6 hours daily. Candidates are also expected to monitor during field trips when requested. Alliance Center for Education's sole reason for being is to teach children and help families grow. This defining purpose aligns us all and brings us closer to fulfilling our service statement - to create a world where a family's income doesn't determine a child's outcome. Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Criminal Background Check w/Fingerprints - subsequent to qualifying letter
- Educational Transcript and Resume
- DCDEE Workforce Letter
- Current Physical
- Current TB Test
- Subject to background check and drug screen prior to employment
- Submission to ongoing random drug screening
