About The Position
Illinois Central School Bus is hiring School Bus Drivers in Tolono, IL, to join a team that focuses on safety, quality, community, and innovation. Drivers are an integral part of the communities they serve, committed to safety, customer service, and caring for children in the Unit 7 School District. This position offers the flexibility of part-time hours, with weekends and holidays off, and is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children.
Requirements
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years
- Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test, background check and physical examination
Responsibilities
- Transport children and other passengers to and from school (Unit 7 School District)
- Operate vehicles safely, following regulations and company procedures
- Ensure the safety of all students
- Attend safety meetings as required
- Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed
