We offer PAID Pre-Permit Training to get your CDL Permit while you work as a School Bus Monitor!!! A School Bus Driver is responsible for transporting students safely and on time from their pickup point to school and back. This includes performing pre-trip inspections, ensuring child safety, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations. DS Bus Lines, INC. Requirements
- Must be familiar with the KCMO area.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience driving a school bus.
- Must have current valid CDL with S and P endorsements as well as air brake certification.
- Must be able to travel to other locations or states as required.
- Demonstrated success driving a variety of different routes.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and activities
- Arrive at destinations on schedule
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Conduct child checks after each route
- Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes
- Maintain a clean, fueled, and well-maintained vehicle
- Keep accurate mileage and maintenance records
- Interact with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
