School Bus Driver
About The Position
Transportation : Driving students to and from school, and to other activities like field trips and sporting events Safety : Ensuring the safety of students, including helping students with disabilities get on and off the bus Discipline : Maintaining order and discipline on the bus, and reporting disciplinary issues to the school district and parents Vehicle maintenance : Conducting daily inspections of the bus, reporting mechanical issues, and keeping the bus clean Driving : Following traffic laws and adhering to a schedule Communication : Communicating with students and other staff via two-way radio Reporting : Completing reports on mileage, passenger counts, and incidents Training : Attending safety meetings and driver training programs
