About The Position
Drive a Type I and Type II school bus to transport students to and from school, field trips and athletic events, in accordance with established routes, time schedules, district policies and procedures; maintain bus in a clean condition; perform related duties as assigned. Responsible To and Evaluated By: Administrator of Maintenance, Operations and Transportation. Class Characteristics: Positions allocated to this class typically provide safe transportation from a neighborhood pick-up site to school and return. Incumbents also transport students on educational and other authorized trips. Some positions in this class may be assigned to drive special education students in specially equipped buses from home to school and return.
