About The Position

The Transportation/Bus Driver position is responsible for the safe operation of school buses. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and effective management of students while driving.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or two years previous school bus driving experience.
• Texas CDL (Class B) with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement.
• TEA driver certification.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• DOT physical/Drug screening.
• Pass District Physical Performance Test.
• AISD Special Ed Training Course (Special Ed Drivers).

• Demonstrate complete physical control and operation of school buses.
• Strong communication, public relations, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
