About The Position

The Transportation Department is seeking multiple School Bus Aides to assist in the safe transportation of students. The position is effective from 10/15/2025 and is governed by a collective bargaining agreement. The hourly rate for this position is $19.69.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with children and manage behavior effectively.
• Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with children.
• First aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe boarding and disembarking of students on school buses.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding transportation issues.
• Report any incidents or concerns to the transportation supervisor.
