Position Overview: Provide direct and consultative behavior support services for the dedicated "Positive Pathways" program, which is designed to proactively teach and reinforce social-emotional skills and positive school-wide behavior for all Pre-K to Grade 5 students. Develop, implement, and oversee Individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and functional behavior assessments (FBAs). Deliver training and ongoing coaching to school staff on the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and data-driven behavior strategies. Monitor and analyze behavior data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary program modifications.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification alongside a Connecticut Professional License to practice as a BCBA
  • Prior experience in a school-based or clinical setting serving the Pre-K to elementary school population (Grades K-5)
