About The Position

Sheppard Pratt School in Glyndon is a leading provider of year-round special education and therapeutic services, catering to students grades K-12. You will assess, develop, and implement behavior support plans for students with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a related field of study.
  • Two years of behavior assessment and management experience.
  • For internal candidates: a bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience (2 of which must be within SPHS) would be considered a substitute for a master’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans (BIPs) .
  • Conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and ongoing assessments to monitor progress.
  • Providing training and support to caregivers and staff on behavior management techniques and intervention strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
