About The Position

The School Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is a full-time role focused on supporting K-12 students through behavior interventions. The BCBA will conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and collaborate with educators and families to foster a positive learning environment. This role is essential in ensuring that students receive the behavioral support they need to succeed academically and socially.

Requirements

• Active BCBA certification
• Experience working in a school setting or with K-12 students (preferred)
• Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and behavior plan development
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work effectively with students, teachers, and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for K-12 students, identifying target behaviors and developing personalized intervention strategies.
• Create, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to address student behavior concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to provide behavioral support and ensure successful implementation of interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings to discuss behavior plans, goals, and student progress.
• Provide training and guidance to school personnel on effective behavior management techniques.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on student progress and behavioral data.
• Adjust intervention plans based on ongoing monitoring and student outcomes.
