About The Position

Ready to lead the way in specialized communication and transform student outcomes? Cross Country Education is looking for two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) passionate about empowering students with diverse needs and seeing real breakthroughs to join our elite team within a premier program in South Holland, IL , for the '25 – '26 school year! Position Overview: Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for a diverse caseload ranging from Early Childhood through Transition age, specifically supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities. Design and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on verbal and non-verbal communication, social pragmatics, and sensory regulation to enhance academic and functional progress. Partner with the Adaptive Behavioral Learning Environment (ABLE) team to integrate speech-language goals into daily classroom routines and social interaction activities. Collect and analyze data to track student development, ensuring all services align with IEP goals and state educational standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
  • Prior experience working with Early Childhood populations and students with significant social-communication or sensory processing needs
  • Proficiency in implementing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies and supporting students with varied intellectual and adaptive profiles
