About The Position

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Registered Behavior Technician / RBT in Neshaminy School District! A Registered Behavior Technician / RBT is a paraprofessional who can work directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs including students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan; require complex verbal behavior programming; and/or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis. The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support. The RBT practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• National certification as an RBT - active.
• Completed 40 hours of RBT training under Edition Task List 2 (if applicable).
• Minimum of 1 year experience working directly with individuals with special needs (preferred).
• Maintain RBT certification as mandated by the BACB.
• Current certification in CPR/First Aid and Crisis Prevention Intervention trainings.

Responsibilities

• Directly implement behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support.
• Work with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs.
• Implement crisis management plans as required.
• Conduct complex verbal behavior programming.
• Perform extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis.
