About The Position

Cross Country Education has an exciting part-time opportunity for a dedicated School-Based Physical Therapist to make a difference in students' lives in Baton Rouge, LA , for the '25–'26 school year. Join our team and utilize your skills to help students reach their full physical potential! Position Overview: Deliver direct physical therapy services, with 30-minute sessions twice monthly or quarterly, to a small caseload (approx. 3 students) according to their Individualized Education Program (IEP) mandates. Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to the IEP process by establishing measurable, functional physical therapy goals related to the student's educational setting. Consult with staff and families regarding adaptive equipment and environmental strategies to support the student's physical success within the school setting. Manage a minimal, part-time caseload across two Baton Rouge school campuses, ensuring adherence to required IEP frequency.

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or qualifying Master’s/Bachelor's degree
• Valid Louisiana Physical Therapist (PT) License
