Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Wisconsin SLP license (or eligibility)
  • DPI certification for school-based practice (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • A true passion for supporting children’s growth and success
  • Graduate of an accredited school with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • License as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pediatrics or school settings preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with a variety of needs
  • Address areas including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions
  • Provide documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Educate caregivers on strategies to support carryover at home
