School-Based Occupational Therapist

Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help K–12 students overcome barriers, master daily school activities, and reach their absolute full potential in a dynamic school community in Hemet, CA . Position Overview: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and implement individualized programs for a diverse K–12 population to improve functional performance in the educational environment. Participate actively in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, developing measurable goals and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents. Design and supervise specialized activities or environmental modifications to help students develop or maintain daily living and academic skills. Maintain accurate records of student progress and school-based treatment plans in compliance with state and federal educational regulations.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid California Occupational Therapist Licensed (CBOT)
- Proficiency in working with the K–12 population and the ability to adapt techniques to a classroom setting
