About The Position

Seeking a licensed School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students across elementary and high school settings within a public school district. This role involves both direct and indirect therapy services, with the majority of time spent at the elementary level. School Assignments & Caseload Elementary School (Pre-K–5th Grade): Approximately 40 students Primarily direct therapy services Onboarding and ongoing support available from a district Occupational Therapist High School: Approximately 10 students Primarily indirect services , including consultation and collaboration with staff

Requirements

  • Active Occupational Therapist license (state-appropriate)
  • School Special Services Provider (SSP) credential issued by the state Department of Education — MUST be in hand
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently within a school environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
  • Deliver direct intervention services and indirect consultation as assigned
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Support students in developing functional, academic, and self-regulation skills
