PRO Pediatric Services is seeking an exceptional School-Based Mobile Therapist (MT) to provide services within a CSBBH program at a local intermediate unit. Job Details: Location: Hanover Township, PA Schedule: Full-time, year-round. M-F, 8am-4pm Caseload: K-12 Requirements: Master’s degree related to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling or related field and completion of a clinical internship is required. Requirements

  • Master's degree related to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling or related field is required and must meet one of the following qualifications:
  • Hold a license as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker
  • Hold a license as a social worker or behavior specialist and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
  • Have a minimum of one-year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, or counseling AND c omplete a clinical or mental health direct service practicum with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counselor or related field.
  • Current clearances (within 6 months)

Responsibilities

  • Assess treatment needs of identified clients and develop a treatment plan and goal treatment plan to address those needs utilizing a strength-based solution focused model of treatment.
  • Conduct treatment plan reviews.
  • Provide direction and support to the Behavioral Health Technicians.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Utilize the collaborative treatment planning process, which includes all involved parties in identifying needs, steps, and intervention strategies.
  • Create and monitor crisis plans.
  • Utilize clinical assessments as directed by the licensed psychologist.
  • Document all sessions with clients and their families.
  • Communicate regularly with families and school personnel.
  • Conduct intakes with client’s including assessments.
  • Coordinate of care when the client is involved with other child/family serving systems.
  • Review and approve with signature all documentation provided by assigned Therapeutic Staff Support.
  • Implement and adhere to CASSP principles in the provision of mental health services.
  • Seek out clinical supervision from the Director of IBHS or designee.
  • To participate in CASSP, Interagency, MDE/IEP meetings, as needed/directed.
  • To perform other duties as directed by the Director of IBHS.
