About The Position
Seeking Full-Time School-Based Mental Health Outpatient Therapist to work in collaboration with local school system to provide outpatient therapy in a school-based setting. This position provides needs assessment, consultation, and school-based therapeutic interventions to youth attending local public schools, as well as their parents/caregivers.
Requirements
- Licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or eligibility to register for supervision toward licensure.in the state of Virginia is required.
- Valid Driver's License with safe driving record
- Must be willing to consent to background checks, including checks for barrier crimes, and drug screening as part of the application process.
Nice To Haves
- direct clinical experience
- two years' experience working with children / adolescents diagnosed with Serious Emotional Disturbance preferred
