School-Based Mental Health Therapist

Pride in North Carolina, LLC is seeking a School-Based Therapist to provide mental health services to children within the school setting, including assessments and therapy. The School-Based Therapist conducts diagnostic assessments, delivers individual therapy, and collaborates with school staff and families to support student success.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a human services field and licensure (LCSW(A), LCMHC(A), LMFT(A), or equivalent).
- Must be licensed in North Carolina; associate or fully licensed clinicians accepted.
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree in a human service field and provisional or full licensure by the state of North Carolina is required.
- Therapists must meet the licensure and/or experience requirements as specified in the service description based on the person-served’s needs.
Responsibilities
- Assess strengths and needs through screening and evaluation.
- Formulate diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Provide individual and family therapy in school settings.
- Complete documentation per Medicaid and insurance requirements.
- Monitor progress and update crisis plans as needed.
