Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Active Maryland license (LCSW-C, LMSW, LCPC, or LGPC)
• Experience working with youth (school-based, outpatient, or virtual settings)
• Strong skills in individual and family therapy
• Trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach
• Passion for increasing access to mental health care for children and teens

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site, school-based individual therapy during school hours
• Offer telehealth sessions (optional) to supplement caseload or support onboarding
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments
• Develop individualized, student-centered treatment plans
• Collaborate with school staff, caregivers, and the Backpack clinical team
• Maintain timely documentation in our EHR
• Participate in supervision and case consultations (as applicable)
