Empowering Minds Resource Center (EMRC) is seeking a Full-Time Mental Health Therapist to provide school-based mental health services in Harford County. The therapist will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and diagnostic assessments. The therapist will provide therapy at one selected Harford County school currently served by EMRC. They will also attend meetings related to students (SST, IEP, etc.) and make referrals to other in-school and community services.

Requirements

• Active Maryland master’s level license (LMSW, LGPC, LCSW, LCSW-C, or LCPC).
• Minimum of 1 year of comparable experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students.
• Conduct crisis intervention as needed.
• Perform diagnostic assessments for students.
• Attend meetings related to students (SST, IEP, etc.).
• Make referrals to other in-school and community services.
