Requirements

Meet Qualified Mental Health Practitioner criteria (qualifications can be reviewed here)
Have strong knowledge of parenting, child development, and family dynamics.
Have outstanding communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
Have a heart for working with high-risk youth and families in crisis.
Are nonjudgmental, trauma-informed, and have a strengths-based approach.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and group skills training in a school-based setting
Deliver client-centered mental health services to youth and families
Collaborate with schools, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Support students in improving emotional regulation, behavior, and academic success
Partner with teachers, families, and community providers
Maintain clear, timely documentation and communication
Advocate for client needs across systems
Deliver strength-based, trauma-informed care
Provide education and resources to families and school staff
Build strong, trusting relationships with youth
Complete clinical documentation in alignment with billing and regulatory standards
Maintain compliance with confidentiality, ethics, and reporting requirements
Participate in ongoing training and supervision
