School Based Mental Health Counselor
About The Position
As a School Based Mental Health Counselor, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals and families on their journey toward emotional wellness. In this position, you will: Provide individual and family therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs. Build meaningful therapeutic relationships that foster growth and resilience. Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation for your caseload. Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver high-quality, client-centered care. This role is ideal for compassionate professionals who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others while working in a structured, collaborative environment. School District(s): Wherever the need is at time of hire. (Most likely Gateway and/or Plum, and/or potentially Franklin Regional) Part Time: at least 3 days. 15-29 hours/week
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or similar clinical discipline.
- Must have a verified clinical practicum
- Or licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania
- Up to 100% of travel between appointment sites or other locations – as outlined in program requirements
