About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at Greenbriar Middle School Health Clinic is a full-time role focused on providing nursing care and health support to children in a school setting. The LPN will work Monday through Friday, ensuring a family-friendly schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays. This role is integral to promoting children's health and well-being, collaborating with healthcare professionals, school staff, and families to deliver quality care.

Requirements

• Current LPN license through the Ohio Board of Nursing (required).
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality (required).
• Basic knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication administration (required).
• Must have or be willing to obtain current BLS/CPR and/or First Aid certification (depending on position).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in school health or pediatric nursing is preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care and health support to children in school settings.
• Administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing basic health care needs.
• Supporting the prevention of communicable diseases and implementing protocols to maintain a safe, healthy environment.
