About The Position

In this highly visible, coordinator role, you will be reporting to the Clinical Director of School Based Programs. This position will support and coordinate medical, dental, nutrition, behavioral health and optometry services for students at the School-Based Health Center. As the School-Based Coordinator, you will use your detail-oriented skills to coordinate scheduling, staffing coverage and patient flow for all departments. Your exceptional customer service skills will be used to manage the front desk when necessary, and to escort students to and from appointments while adhering to district guidelines. Your considerate and open demeanor towards others, coupled with your understanding that our staff are treasured for their uniqueness, reflects your mission-oriented character as you interact with school and health center staff, patients and their families, and the community at large. Requirements

  • 1-2 years of medical office or School-Based Health Center experience (preferred but not required)
  • Must be committed to community health and have a working knowledge of rural services and needs.
  • Must be able to function as a productive member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Able to multi-task accordingly
  • You are trustworthy, responsible, independent, take ownership, and deliver results.
  • You have unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character. You have demonstrated high moral and ethical behavior.
