Soar Learning Center, an independent K–12 school and day treatment program, is seeking a School-Based Clinician to join our passionate and collaborative team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment that integrates education, mental health, and family partnership to support the success of every student. This position is a 200-day contract that follows the school schedule! Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Licensed or licensure eligible in the state of Vermont (strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with youth and collaborate within interdisciplinary teams
- Valid license (Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Psychologist) to practice in the State of Vermont, or be licensure eligible.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical assessments, individual and group psychotherapy, and therapeutic support
- Facilitate skill-building groups tailored to students’ developmental levels and needs
- Partner closely with students’ families and NCSS colleagues to ensure cohesive, trauma-informed care
