About The Position

Terros Health is seeking a School-based Clinician for their Children's Services at the 27th Ave location in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time position involves providing outpatient counseling services to children, adolescents, transition-aged youth, and their families, addressing both mental health and substance use needs. Services will be delivered in school-based settings, family homes, and potentially in the office. The ideal candidate will be professional, friendly, a self-starter, organized, and compassionate. Requirements

  • Master’s degree (MA, MS, MC, MSW) in behavioral health field.
  • Arizona license or eligible for Arizona license (LAMFT, LAC, LAAC, LMSW, LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LIAC).
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish professional working relationships.
  • Ability to perform first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation as necessary and appropriate.
  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card within 7 working days of employment.
  • Must have or obtain a valid Arizona Driver License.
  • Be 21 years of age with a minimum 4 years driving experience.
  • Must meet requirements of Terros driving policy.
  • Must pass a TB test.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience practicing in one of the listed licenses (Strongly preferred).
  • Training in DBT, or EMDR, or other Evidence Based Practice preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Translate knowledge into effective counseling methods.
  • Determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Seek supervision/consultation as appropriate.
  • Ensure treatment plans provide clear translation of needs into individual, achievable and measurable objectives.
  • For Child and Adolescent Clinicians: Involvement in CFTs, collaboration with child/family, contributes to ISP process.
  • Ensure client’s charts are in compliance with required standards, including progress notes completed same day and reflecting evidence-based treatment.
  • Provide outpatient counseling services which may include assessments and counseling for children, adolescents, transition aged youth, families, and groups.
  • Provide treatment for both mental health and substance use needs.
  • Provide services out of the office in a school-based setting or other place of service such as a family’s home and could include office based as needed.
