Requirements

  • Master's degree or licensed professional with post licensure experience in mental health
  • Must possess a Missouri State license as a Psychologist, LMSW, LCSW, PLPC, or LPC
  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check
  • Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to build trust and foster positive relationships with team members and clients
  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body
  • Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision to Clinical Providers, including holding regularly scheduled individual supervisory sessions and team meetings with supervisees to ensure they have the support and guidance needed to excel in their roles
  • Assist supervisees in the effective management of their time, as dictated by DMH standards and departmental needs, to ensure efficient and productive service delivery
  • Provide individual, group, family, and other practical counseling services to meet the unique needs of clients and achieve treatment goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and staying up-to-date on best practices in School Based services
  • Participate in staffing of clients to identify problems, establish goals and objectives for treatment, and develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the client's specific needs and goals
  • Provide leadership and guidance to all aspects of the department, including overseeing the development and implementation of new programs and services, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous quality improvement
  • Regularly review and monitor written documentation, providing corrective feedback and employee discipline as needed, to ensure compliance with documentation requirements and maintain high standards of quality
  • Participate in hiring staff for the department, including conducting interviews, evaluating candidate qualifications, and making recommendations for hiring
  • Report all critical incidents and staff responses to the supervising Assistant Director or Director of the department, ensuring prompt and effective communication and resolution
  • Review all travel vouchers and certify that mileage claimed is reasonable and for medically necessary activities, ensuring accurate and efficient use of company resources
  • Function in accordance with Brightli Operational Guidelines and within professional code of ethics, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism
  • Participate in and contribute to various staff development and training activities, including new hire trainings and orientation, to ensure ongoing growth and development of staff
