About The Position
The School Based Behavioral Health Liaison (SBBHL) plays a crucial role in supporting classroom teachers to create positive, trauma-informed environments for students at risk of emotional or behavioral issues. This position involves direct consultation with educators, training on mental health topics, and providing support to families and students in navigating educational and behavioral health systems. The SBBHL will also facilitate psycho-educational groups and assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and trauma-informed support plans.
