About The Position
The Behavior Technician at Beacon Services of Connecticut is responsible for implementing teaching and behavioral plans for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) in a school setting. This role involves working one-on-one with students to enhance their social, language, and academic skills while ensuring continuity of programming in both individual instruction and regular education classrooms. The position requires recording and summarizing educational and behavioral data, and the technician will be assigned to a student for up to 184 school days.
