About The Position

Our mission is to provide hope, healing, and healthcare to everyone. 4 weeks paid time off during the summer The Access Specialist is often the first point of contact for new and returning patients for our school based program. This position is responsible for responding to and screening incoming referrals, data entry, coordinating consent and access to care. The clinical responsibilities include completing, updating or reviewing diagnostic assessments. This position is responsible primarily for school-aged patients and their families across both office and school or other community settings. This licensed mental health provider will engage as a member of a collaborative team. More specifically, this position is responsible for:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. Master's degree in Social Work/Counseling or related field (preferred)
  • LPC/LSW/MFT required.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record (4 pts. or less), reliable transportation, and carry automobile insurance with minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience performing Diagnostic Assessments in a mental health setting (preferred)
  • Experience in crisis intervention, triage, and knowledge of community resources (preferred)
  • Experience working in or with Educational settings (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma informed services to patients and their family system in across office, school, community, home, and virtual environments; including intake, consultation, assessment, and triage services.
  • Provide accurate, concise, and concurrent documentation according to program procedures and policies including, but not limited to diagnostic assessments, diagnosis, risk assessments, progress notes, other intake documents.
  • Interviewing all new clients to conduct thorough diagnostic assessments.
  • Providing and coordinating crisis intervention and triage services.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources and community providers.
