Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid New York State Driver’s License
• Basic computer skills (Adobe Acrobat, Word, Outlook)
• A caring attitude and a commitment to helping others succeed

Responsibilities

• Assisting with classroom activities tailored to each student’s IEP
• Supporting students during community occupational outings and field trips
• Providing help with personal care and mealtime routines
• Assisting in lunch preparation and cleanup
• Maintaining classroom organization and cleanliness
• Documenting observations and data with clarity and accuracy
• Collaborating with therapists to implement therapy goals
• Creating a positive, person-centered environment for every student
